Facebook has been cleared by US regulators to purchase popular mobile photo app Instagram. This move (albeit purchasing a platform that produces no revenue) will help improve Facebook’s mobile offering.
It’s going to be interesting to see when and how Facebook integrates this fun filter photo phenomenon. Could we see Facebook having Pinterest inspired page tabs in the near future?
