Previewing Facebook Pages Boombox is back online after a muddy good weekend at the Isle of Wight Festival. After checking up on e-mails, messages and tweets (why can’t mobile batteries last a little longer?) we immediately noticed a new page preview update from Facebook. Seeing as Tom Petty was our stand-out act at the festival, we have used the official Tom Petty and the Heartbreaker’s Page to show this new page preview update. Although the screenshot is taken on the Page, the preview also works within user’s newsfeeds. By hovering your mouse pointer over a Page’s name, you can see a larger version of the profile picture, along with the page’s cover photo. You can also see the page’s listing, its total likes and the number of your Facebook friends who like the page. Whilst still in your news feed you can also choose to include updates from that page in your news feed, start a new interest list (including the current page) or even send the Page admin a message.
